Project Impact
Superior, Nebraska
![]() |
Lost Creek on the West side of Superior has a long history of causing serious flooding problems. The most recent flooding event was in 1996. Severe bank erosion has caused a threat to several bridges, homes and public areas. Much of the problem is caused by inadequate drainage for the 19 square miles of watershed flowing into Lost Creek. The current flood capacity of Lost Creek is less than a 10 year flood event. |
