To every farmer, harvest is the best time of year, but this year Barry Melvin was not able to see this site because of a September 8 traffic accident which put him in the hospital for several weeks. The last cutting of alfalfa was put up, calves weaned and crops harvested, thanks to several family and friends showing up to complete the tasks.
