The bridge along County Road 4000, just a mile and half north of the Oak-Nelson Road was recently replaced with three-eight foot culverts by the Nuckolls County Road Department. This bridge is just one of a few Nuckolls County has either replaced or removed over the last year though the Transportation Innovation Act; County Bridge Match Program. The program will reimburse the county for 55 percent of the construction cost.
