SHS boys at tourney

The Superior High School boys basketball team dropped their consolation round game against Sandy Creek, 46-35, Friday. They lost a one-point heartbreaker, 58-57, to Smith Center, at Superior, Monday.
The Wildcats were tied with Sandy Creek at the half but were unable to pull away over the remainder of the game. Superior mounted a powerful fourth quarter come back attempt, down 45-34, but came up one point short when the final buzzer sounded.
Conner Blackstone was the high scorer against Sandy Creek with 12 points. Jackson Gilbert hit for 10 points. Hunter Healey scored seven points. Jordan Bro...
