Wildcats come up short against Sandy Creek

On Feb. 8, the Wildcats played an away game against the Sandy Creek Cougars. The Wildcats boys team led most of the first two quarters, but lost momentum after half time. The Cats lost with a score of 35-46.

Conner Blackstone led the Wildcats with 12 points, all coming from three pointers. Jackson Gilbert scored 10 points, with two three-pointers. Zeke Meyer rebounded 11 shots, while Hunter Healey and Conner Blackstone rebounded four each. Hunter Healey stole the ball four times, and Zeke Meyer had three assists.

The Cats played Monday, at home, against Smith Center. On Friday, the Cats will play an away game against the Lawrence Nelson Raiders.
