The library held an earring making workshop taught by Shanna Lindberg, of the Soul Sisters shop in Courtland. She demonstrated how to attach an earring to a couple of different styles of hooks. She also demonstrated how to use wire and posts for making the dangling decoration of an earring. Three members of the Formoso community were present as well as the librarian, Barb Langston. Each one who attended got to take home the earrings that they made. It was enjoyed so much that the Formoso Library is planning to host another such workshop in the near future!

The Formoso Community Church hosted a Valentines Banquet on Saturday evening. They served more than 50 people a hot supper and dessert with music entertainment afterward. Adam and Ashley Bedient from Osborne provided testimonies and musical talent.

Pastor Daniel is once again holding a seminar at the Formoso Fire Station. It will be held this (Thursday) evening. This month he will be answering the question "Why do bad things happen to good people?" Anyone interested in attending the workshop can check on the Formoso Community Church's Facebook page.
