A mini-blizzard occurred last Tuesday morning lasting less than an hour. Snow continued to fall off and on all day with no accumulation. Wind made it seem colder than it registered. Chilly wind, but sunny Wednesday. It held the promise of spring. Rain fell lightly Thursday afternoon, but probably not enough to measure. The weekend was nice despite the wind.

Only five women attended Senior Citizens  last Tuesday and a good dinner was enjoyed before playing cards in the afternoon. The next meeting will be March 24.

Two women finished a quilt last Wednesday morning at the church and a baby quilt was put into the frames.

Mary Lou Shelton visited Leota Clawson Saturday afternoon.

Ila McElroy’s guests last week were Marti McElroy on Monday, Jocelyn Bolte on Friday and again Sunday with her sister, Raelyn. Wayne McElroy also stopped for a visit Sunday.

Saturday, Joe Buser and Zayden and Josh Buser and some friends visited Nancy and Bill Buser. Sunday, another friend stopped to visit Bill and Nancy.

Fawna Barrett is great-grandma again with the birth of Julia Ashley Gerlach on Feb. 27. Her parents are Ashley and Matt Gerlach, Clearwater. Maternal grandparents are Susan and Ferris Barrett, Towanda.
