An enjoyable trip to Glen Elder

Last Thursday Lyndell Hanson met Mike Louthan in Glen Elder, to purchase a used chain hoist. Louthan purchased Glen Elder school in December and is in the process of remodeling it to become his new residence. He hope to eventually sell his house and property in Beloit.

I made a road trip to Glen Elder last Thursday to meet with Mike Louthan to purchase a used chain hoist. The road trip began at Mount Hope Cemetery heading south on 150 Road .

On my journey. I decided to take a slight detour at J Road heading west just to see the Jewell State Fishing Lake. The water level is about the same as last November. It's always fun to watch the ducks swimming, diving and playing their silly games.
