John Patrick Bonicamp (Pat), 82, of Wheat Ridge, Colo., died Feb. 23, 2020 at his home after a short illness.

Pat was born in Iowa on Feb. 14, 1938, son of late John Patrick, Sr. and Freda Bonicamp of Wichita, Kan. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karol Lynn Bonicamp; four children, Kevin, Mickey, Patricia and John Patrick, Jr.; three grandchildren, Savanah, Weston and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Henry, Liam and Henslee; brother-in-law, Gil and wife, Carlyne, Mahaffy of Arvada, Colo., and sister-in-law, Twana Seirer of Mankato, and their children.

Pat was preceded in death by Patricia Bonicamp, and brother-in-law, Rex Seirer.

Pat served in the U.S. Navy and was a devoted Denver Broncos fan.

His funeral was at 1:15 p.m., Thursday, March 5, at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
