Events still planned, but dates uncertain

In this time of uncertainty the one thing that is certain is uncertainty.

In the last issue of this newspaper we reported in both the news and advertising columns about the cancellations of such traditional spring time events as the Lenten Week Breakfasts held each year in Superior, and the various Easter Egg hunts and programs held on the Saturday before Easter.

This week we were told many of the events including the Lenten Weeks breakfasts and the Easter egg hunts normally held in Lincoln Park by the Living Faith Fellowship Church and the Superior Lions Club will all be held at sometime in the future. But the dates haven’t been set yet.

Hopefully, those dates are just weeks and not years away.

While the number of covid-19 cases are still escalating in this general area, there is some indication the pandemic may be moderating in some of the previous hot spots.
