Covid-19 doesn’t stop blood donors in Lawrence

Blood donors in south central Nebraska are sort of like the U. S. Postal Service . . . “Neither cold, snow, or this coronavirus shall stop the donors from their volunteer service.”

In any case, the Red Cross Bloodmobile made its first visit to Lawrence for the year on Thursday and local residents, plus a number from other localities turned out. It was a cold rainy and snowy day, but 53 units were collected, a successful drive. The Red Cross adhered to all the safety practices to protect donors and workers alike in this day of the corona...
