Central National Bank has promoted of Shelli Navarro to field nanager. Navarro has been with the bank 10 years, most recently in her role as retail office supervisor. Navarro will be serving the communities of Man- kato, Beloit and Concordia, as well as Superior.

Navarro has a bachelor's of science degree in telecommunications management from DeVry Institute of Technology as well as a master's of science degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix. She grew up in Jewell County and lives an equal distance from the communities she will be serving. Navarro has two children who are both involved in school activities and also have a passion for 4-H. This June marks her 11th anniversary with the bank. She started her role at the Formoso branch in 2009.

"I've been serving our Mankato and Superior communities some time now, but I look forward to getting to know our customers in Concordia and

Beloit in the coming months.... I've worked alongside Cindy Thompson at

our Concordia location and Beth Holling at our Beloit location for many

years. This new roll will allow me to enhance those relationships, strengthening our support in each community," said Navarro.

Navarro has a passion for supporting rural communities, and hopes to bring that passion to her work outside of Mankato. Navarro recently graduated from the Fundamentals of Banking School through the Kansas and Nebraska Bankers Associations, and is now attending the Advanced Schools

of Banking. Navarro is also classified as a product champion at Central National Bank, which means she is an expert in business accounts and services.

Navarro has many interests outside of banking, but you can usually find her tending to her garden, playing volleyball, softball or doing other outdoor activities.

"Shelli has been a benefit to the Mankato community for many years,"

said Tonia Shirk, regional manager. "Her enthusiasm for small towns, small business and rural communities is hard to match. She's been known to use her personal social media accounts to advertise for local businesses simply because she knows how vital they are to the health of a rural community. I have no doubt that she'll be an asset to these

other communities as well."
