The Mankato City Park is closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The first spring-like weather usually baits children and their families to the park, but not this year. Playing on the equipment is prohibited.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, playground equipment in Mankato's City Park is now on off limits to all park visitors.
Park visitors may continue to walk in the park but they are asked to follow the social distancing protocols.
The county sheriff's department and city staff members will be enforcing the closure rules.
