Though some would have us believe the crisis is over and we should return to our previous lifestyle, that is necessarily so as late Wednesday the South Heartland Health District confirmed the first case of COVID-19 had been found in Nuckolls County. The victim is said to be a male in his 50s. We have not learned where he lives in Nuckolls County, not how it is thought he contracted the problem. We also do not know if he is hospitalized at this time.

All we are sure of is that we should continue to take precautions.
