On a beautiful Friday evening, the couples summer golf league at the Elk Creek Country Club in Nelson was launched. Participants established handicaps for the season. This summer the format will be the usual “Scramble” (Best Ball) with a two person team.

Ken and Jan Rempe came in with a 41 for the lowest score and Richard and Verlene Watson had a score of 53 plus they had the Most Over on the par 5, number 4 with an 11.
