Petsch Electric, owned by Justin Petsch was founded last November 2019 to provide residential, commercial and agricultural electrical services to South Central Nebraska. Justin grew up in Guide Rock. His wife, Marissa, is from Nelson. They chose to settle in Red Cloud as it was close to their family. Marissa works in Red Cloud as well. They like the town of Red Cloud and said they enjoy living in a great community.

Justin graduated from Superior High School in 2011 and then went on to attended Southeast Community College in Milford. He graduated with his associate's degree in electrical and electromechanical technology in 2013. Justin has worked in many different settings as an electrician for the past seven years. After graduating from college, he worked for Lucas Electric in Kearney for two years. While there, he became a licensed journeyman electrician. He moved back home in 2015 and worked in Superior for South Central Electric until November of 2019 when he received his contractor's license and started his own business.

Justin said he appreciates the training he received from James and Joe Lucas with Lucas Electric and Jeremy Tatro with South Central Electric. He believes he would not be where his today without their expertise and guidance. Family and friends have also helped by giving support and advice as Justin and Marissa began this new journey.

Justin and Marissa, are expecting their first child in August. They have high hopes for the future of their family, their business and their community.
