Paul Allen, 62,the son of Janice M. (Noller) and Donald W. Allen, was born June 14, 1957, at Smith Center. He died June 12, at the Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith Center.

Paul received his formal education attending the Lebanon schools and graduated with the Class of 1975. He was employed as a mechanic and later moved to Denver, Colo., where he worked as a refrigeration engineer. In 1996, he returned to make his home in the Lebanon community.

In his leisure time, Paul enjoyed the company of his dogs, riding horses, raising hogs and hunting.

Preceding Paul in death were his parents; nephews, Charles S. Allen and Robert W. Allen; niece, Jessye’lizabeth Allen and great-niece, Faith E. Allen.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at the Price Cemetery in Lebanon with the Rev. Laura Fricker officiating.
