VFW Auxiliary met for officer election and installation

The 2020-21 VFW #7830 Auxiliary officers are (from left) Karen Boden, treasurer; Barb Railsback, chaplain; Loreita Dunstan, junior vice-president; Phyllis Christie, senior vice-president; Sherri Jeffery, president; Marlene Neilson, conductress; Doris Alexander, guard; And Sherrill Daniels, secretary. Not present, but elected as trustee three was Janis McDill.
The Mankato VFW 7830 Auxiliary met May 12, for the purpose of electing and installing the officers for the 2020-2021 business year. Eight members were present and one guest, Marsha LaRosh of 7743, Osborne, for the purpose of installing officers.
Minutes and treasurer's report were approved and bills were presented and paid. Karen Boden showed the masks she has been making and distributing because of COVID-19.
Memorial Day services and ceremonies were cancelled because of COVID-19, but the group was still working with the 4-H members to put the flags out at the cemeteries.
