A former Superior resident, Ty Betka, is returning to his hometown to speak at a youth rally planned for 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Superior High School Gym.

The rally is open to area students who will be in grades 6 through 12 when school resumes this fall.

Registration is requested by Monday. The rally is sponsored by the Living Faith Fellowship Church.

A meal featuring pulled pork sandwiches, chips, watermelon, brownies and cookies will be served following the rally.

Betka will speak about Christian leadership. Other speakers will include Diego Wolfe and Jaden Jorgensen.
