Kansas voters went to the polls Tuesday to mark their primary election ballots. As the votes were not counted prior to the printing of this paper, we are not able to include the results here, however, one the votes are tabulated we posted them on the web at multiple locations.

The results are available as part of the Jewell County Record’s Facebook entries, at http://www.theleaderpaper.com and at superiorne.com. The jewellcountynewspapers.com address we have used in the past is currently not working. We eventually hope to have that problem correct and have that address back in service.

And speaking of things not working, our telephones have been giving some problems of late. We have had complaints of people trying to telephone or fax messages to the Mankato office and not getting through.

When that happens we suggest as an alternative trying to contact the Superior office at 402-879-3291 for assistance.

Effective last Wednesday we have a new face in the Mankato office. Amanda Chaput, a Mankato resident, has joined our crew. Feel free to stop in the office and get acquainted or if you see her out and about, wave and say hello!
