Saturday was graduation day for L-N Class of 2020

Saturday Lawrence-Nelson High School Class of 2020 finally walked across the stage to receive their diplomas. There was plenty of laughter and tears as students, parents and teachers turned the page on a new chapter. It's almost time for school to start and the final Nuckolls County high school graduation service was held Saturday in Nelson. The commencement exercise for the 2020 Lawrence-Nelson High School class was held Saturday in the high school gym. This year the school had 16 graduates. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic the school probably holds the record for having the latest graduation ever but such records have not been considered important. Hopefully life in Nuckolls County can soon return to normal and the record for holding the latest graduation will not be challenged by the 2021 senior class. T...
