Beck defeats Fleming to win District 3 Commissioner position

Jewell County voters went to the polls last Tuesday to cast their ballots in the 2020 primary election.

The following are the unofficial vote totals for the various positons along with the percentage of the votes received.

Democrat

For U.S. Senate: Robert Leon Tillman, 15, 33.33 percent; Barbara Bollier, 30, 66.67 percent.

For U. S. House of Representatives District 1: Kali Barnett, 30, 65.22 percent; Christy Cauble Davis, 16. 34.78 percent.

For State Representative District 106: James L. Swim, 10.

Republican

For U. S. Senate: David Alan Linsetrom, 23, 3.13 percent; Roger Marshall, 412, 56.06 percent; Brian Matlock, 5; John Miller, 5, Steve Roberts, 4, Gabriel Mark Robles, 2; Lance Berland, 26; Derek Ellis, 3; Bob Hamilton, 99; Kris Kobach, 156, 21.22 percent.

For U. S. House of Representatives District I: Tracey Mann, 436, 61.16 percent; Jerry Molstad, 47; Michael Soetaert, 35; Bill Clifford, , 196.

For State Senator Distict 36: Elaine Bowers, 709.

For State Representative District 106: Lisa Moser, 164, 61.89 percent; Jon Ungerer, 101, 38.11 percent.

For State Representative District 109: Troy Waymaseter, 441.

Board of Education, District 6: Deena Horst, 660.

For County Commissioner, District 2: Keith Roe, 220.

For County Commissioner, District 3: Brent Beck, 130, 48.69 percent; Mark Fleming (incumbent) 87, 32.58 percent; and Shawn Frost, 50, 18.73 percent.

For County Clerk: Carla Waugh, 733.

For County Treasurer: Brenda Eakins, 700.

For Register of Deeds: Amanda Davis, 697.

For County Attorney: Alexandria Carabajal, 686.

For Sheriff: Donald Jacobs, 688.
