My Crazy Life

August 27, 2020

I locked my keys in my garage! House keys, garage keys, office keys, post office keys — all of them except the keys for the car I was driving. I haven’t found the spare garage key as of yet. I may be purchasing a bolt cutter soon.

I was getting some hamburger out of the deep freeze and set it down because my hands were full. I shut the light out and locked the padlock. I got to the post office and couldn’t find the key. That is when it dawned on me. One of those Oh darn moments! I went back and looked in the window. Sure enough, my keys were sitting on the bench.

The kids are back in school and it’s quiet. I’m enjoying that. I am still not accomplishing anything, but I’m slowly getting the things caught up I have been neglecting over the past few months. I was finally able to get into the chiropractor and make the kid an eye doctor appointment. I felt taller when I left the bone crusher’s office. I thought my neck was going to break when he cracked it. It’s funny how you get used to aches and pains and not being able to turn your head a certain way. I was starting to feel like Quasimodo. I left feeling like a new woman.

That’s all I have for you this week. I’ll keep the rest of my boneheaded moments to myself for now. I hope everyone reading this is happy and healthy. I’m hoping this next week is a good one for all, and that I get my keys back soon, X’s & O’s.
