Paige Hild

Brodstone Memorial Hospital has announced the addition of Terri Shipley, occupational therapist, and physical therapist, Paige Hild, to their team.

Patients may recognize Terri, as she worked for a few months in Superior at the end of last year. In addition to being an occupational therapist, Terri is also a certified hand therapist (CHT). For the past 13 years she was the hand therapy director at a facility in Virginia and is excited about bringing her experience to the area. A CHT specializes in treating patients with conditions affecting the hands and upper extremities such as injuries in the joints, tendons and repetitive motion.

Terri was a traveling occupational therapist in Nebraska and Iowa before joining the rehabilitation team at Brodstone. "I like being a part of the rehab team at Brodstone. That is what brought me back to Superior." Terri related. "Everyone is just so helpful and positive. Just a good overall experience that I had here. I never had that at any of my other traveling jobs."

Terri Shipley

Terri has an education degree from Chadron State College, a master's of science in exercise physiology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., and occupational therapy degree from Creighton University. Terri works closely with Jessica Shepler, an occupational therapist at Brodstone for two years.

Paige Hild had also joined the staff at Brodstone. Paige is originally from Central City, and recently moved to this area. She graduated from Doane University with a major in exercise science and a minor in psychology. Paige is a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Kearney, where she received her doctorate in physical therapy.

Paige was in Superior earlier this year as she had a clinical rotation with preceptors at Brodstone. She was impressed with the "welcoming atmosphere at Brodstone." Paige joins other physical therapists, Doug Wehrman, Colby Fox and Spencer Trapp, treating patients at Brodstone and also providing sports therapy to area schools.
