Meet the Lawrence-Nelson Homecoming candidates

Blake Janda is the son of Phil and Michelle Janda, and brother to Kynslee, Connor and Samantha. He is involved in FFA, FBLA, student council, basketball and football. In his free time Blake enjoys hunting and fishing. He plans to become an electrician or attend college to get a degree in agribusiness.

McKenzie Ostdiek is the daughter of Shanon and Ken Ostdiek, and sister to Nolan. She is president of FBLA, and also participates in FFA, HOSA, student council, volleyball, basketball, track, National Honor Society and LN club. Outside of school, she is involved in 4-H. McKenzie enjoys watching Netflix and playing volleyball. She plants to attend UNK, Chadron, or Wayne State and major in pharmacy.

Trevor Biltoft is the son of Jason and Lesli Biltoft, and brother to Colton and Sydney. He is involved in FFA, FBLA, football, basketball, track, National Honor Society and LN Club. Outside of school, he works, farms and participates in 4-H. He plans to go to Central Community College to become an automotive technician.


Avery Mazour is the daughter of Craig and Amy Mazour and sister to Carlie and Keaton. She plays volleyball and basketball and is involved in FFA, FBLA, HOSA, FCA and student council. She is the secretary of FBLA. Outside of school, she is involved in the Larry Dewey youth group and 4-H. She enjoys time with family and friends.

Emily Miller is the daughter of Phil and Renee Miller and sister to Brennan, Tori, Alex and Keith. She plays volleyball and basketball and participates in student council, FFA, National Honor Society and LN Club. In her free time she enjoys watching hockey and Netflix and time with family and friends. She plans to go to a 2-year college, then finish at a 4-year college. She hopes to play volleyball. She may major in interior design.


Jessie Himmelberg is the daughter of Randy and Beth Himmelberg and sister of Trey and Claire. She is in cross country, FFA, Hosa, NHS and band. She also works and is involved in 4-H. She plans to attend UNK and major in biology.

Cole Troudt is the son of Casey and Joni Troudt and brother to Emily. He is involved in football, basketball, track, FCA, student council, National Honor Society and letterman's club. He is involved in his youth group and in his free time enjoys golfing and fishing. Cole is undecided on his future plans.

Keith Miller is the son of Phil and Renee Miller and brother to Emily, Tori, Alex, and Brennan. He is class president and is involved in FFA, football, and basketball. In his free time he works, fishing, works on his 1486 International, and is a cattleman. He plans on attending CCC or SCC and is undecided on a major.
