RHHS football opens season with win

The Rock Hills High School football team opened their 2020 season with a two-quarter 52-6 win over the Wichita Homeschool Warriors at Mankato.

The Warriors offered no resistance to the Grizzlies offense while the Rock Hills defense kept the Warriors at bay.

Jerrod Gillett completed one of his three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown. Davion McDonald pulled in the pass for the Grizzlies.

Mason Higer was the workhorse back with 10 carries for 50 yards. Gillett ran the ball eight times for 93 yards and a touchdown. He returned a kickoff for a touchdown. McDonald took the ball six times to cover...
