The annual road rally sponsored by the Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department was held Sunday, Sept. 6. Fifty-five vehicles and several hundred individuals enjoyed the afternoon trying to chase down and interpret “clues” to follow a route throughout the country side and to return home in an allotted time.

Proceeds from the entry fee went to the volunteer fire department to help pay for equipment. The lunch was served by the Lawrence Community Club and proceeds will be used for community events.

At least one winning vehicle’s inhabitants in the afternoon donated their winning back to the community to be used for the new Community Building.
