Courtney Caye VanSkiver and Drew Arthur Giesenhagen announce their engagement and upcoming marriage on Oct.17. The wedding will be held at Salem Lutheran Church, north of Superior.

Parents of the couple are Max and Sue VanSkiver of Nelson and Darrel and Jeanette Giesenhagen of Holdrege.

A graduate of Lawrence-Nelson High School, Central Community College and Hastings College, Miss VanSkiver is the marketing and communications coordinator for Perennial Public Power at York, Neb.
