RHHS football drops to 1-4 for the season

It didn’t get easier for the Rock Hills Grizzlies football team as they walked away with a 54-8 mercy rule invoked two-quarter loss to the Thunder Ridge Longhorns at Kensington, Friday.

Once again a porous defense and ineffective offense doomed the Grizzlies to their fourth loss of the season to pair with one win.

Jerrod Gillett completed five of his 10 pass attempts for 73 yards. Davion McDonald hauled in three passes for 30 yards. Grant Meyers turned his one reception into a 30 yard gain. Mason Higer picked up six yards with his lone reception.
