Railroad plans to repair Superior East crossing in November

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad has notified the City of Superior of plans to repair the crossing used by trucks entering the Superior East Elevator. The railroad anticipates the crossing will be closed the entire first week of November. The Nuckolls County Commissioners will be asked to lift the no-truck ban which currently keeps the big rigs from reaching the elevator from the east.
