A motorcycle accident discovered in the early hours of Saturday left one Superior resident dead and three other people seriously injured.

Killed in the crash was Christopher Lovegrove, his wife, Britni (Oakman) Lovegrove was injured and hospitalized in Salina. Friends Mekenzie Ehlers and Conray Sjolander were taken to a Lincoln hospital.

Sjolander regained consciousness on Monday and reports on Tuesday indicate he has been slowly improving. Ehlers has undergone multiple surgeries. It has been necessary to insert a plate into her wrist and another in her skull. Doctors have also amputated a leg...
