The Jewell County Community Foundation Board met to review grant applications for the fall round of grant considerations. Awards for this round were granted through a percentage from yearly Match Month donations and the generosity of the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. The following grants were awarded:

The committee unanimously awarded the City of Jewell $7,131 from Dane G. Hansen Foundation for lighting improvements at Lake Emerson.
