Kyle Pierce

Kyle Pierce, the new street worker for the City of Mankato, grew up in Mankato. He went to school in Mankato and chose to stay here.

Pierce enjoys motorcycles, boating and golfing. He has his dog, Sissy, who keeps him company.

Pierce has worked as a welder at Sunflower. Now he works in a high paced environment with the city. He not only works on the streets, he also provides maintenance on the sewers and water.

Pierce's favorite part of living and working in a small town is knowing where everything is. He said the parts of his job he enjoys the most are his co-workers and the short commute. He hasn't yet encountered anything overbearing in this new experience.

COVID-19 prevented Pierce from taking a vacation like it did for many of Mankato's residents. Pierce is inspired by professional golfers.
