WIC program will continue in 2021

Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska has set the first quarter 2021 schedule for clinics held by Womens, Infants and Children Program (WIC).

The program currently serves more than half of all infants born in the United States. It offers suppot to anyone who cares for a child, be it the mother, father, grandparents, foster parents, stepparents or guardians. Because of COVID-19, all appoinetments are completed over the telephone.

Community Action Partnership serves residents of 10 Nebraska counties including, Nuckolls, Clay, Webster, Adams, Buffalo, Dawson, Furnas, Harlan, Kearney and Phelps.

Clinic sites include the Superior Church of Christ and Red Cloud Community Center. Hours in both communities are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Red Cloud Community Center. dates are Jan., 11, Feb. 1, and March 15.

Dates for Superior include Jan. 25, Feb. 22 and March 22. The clinics previously were held at the First Methodist Church.
