Julia Hyde

Julia Agnes Hyde, 76, the daughter of William and Loretta (Weingart) Kimminau, was born May 5, 1944, in Nelson, Neb. She died Dec. 19, 2020, at the Brod- stone Memorial Hospital at Superior.

Julia was one of 11 children. She attended grade school at St. Stephens and was a Superior High School graduate. She was a 39-year member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.in Superior.

She married Darrel Hyde on May 31, 1969, at Mankato. Four children were born to this union. They later divorced.

Julia was an active member of the church and also the Altar Society. She was employed as a CNA, and she also worked as a waitress throughout her lifetime. She was a hard worker with a kind heart and would help anybody in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Josephine Hyde; brothers, Urban and David Kimminau; and her sister, Patricia Flageolle.

Survivors include her children, Diana Daniels of Omaha; Sheila Hyde of Concordia, Kan .; and Terry (Jamie) Hyde of Kalispell, Mont .; eight grandchildren: Mercedes, Lynn and Brittany Schwerman, Burgandy Hyde, Daniel and Hazel Weber, and Andrew and Emily Hyde; siblings, Victor Kimminau of Glenwood Springs, Colo .; Ferdie Kimminau of Beatrice, Albert Kimminau of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ralph (Lorina) Kimminau of Beloit, Stanley Kimminau of Superior, Kenney (Tresa) Kimminau of Gravois Mills, Mo., and Susan Kimminau of Beloit; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, from the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Superior with the Rev. Ferdinand Boehme officiating. Laurie Corman will be the lector. A Rosary will held at 1:30 p.m. before the Mass at the church.

Visitation will be held Saturday from noon until services at the church.

Pallbearers will be Arnold Miller, Jerry Miller, John Sullivan, Frank Sullivan, John Price and Tom Ostdiek.

Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior.

Memorials are suggested to go to the family.
