Robert (Bob) Glenn Davis was born on Feb. 15, 1942, in Lubbock, Texas, to Sherman S. and Zelma L. (Taylor) Davis. He died Dec. 26, 2020. at Via Christi Village, Manhattan, Kan., at the age of 78. Robert worked as an auto mechanic in California and Kansas.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sandra McCary Putman Davis; brother, Jerry W. Davis, Harrodsburg, Ky.; sister, Diana K. Stillman, Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter, Shelli Navarro, Formoso; son, Jason Davis (Lanae) Broomfield, Colo.; numerous nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; Isabel, Meadow, Robert Cruz and Kash; two step-children, Ricky (Tiffany) Putman, Beloit, and Danny Putman, Smith Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Shelby Dan Davis.

Visitation was from 2 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Kleppinger Funeral Home, Jewell.

A graveside service is at 11 a.m. today (Thursday) Dec. 31, at Randall Cemetery, Randall.
