Oakland David Brooks Weber was the firs.t baby of 2021 born at Brodstone Memorial Hospital. He arrived Friday, Jan. 8. He weighed 8 lbs. 7 oz.
His parents are Jacob and Maleka Weber, Superior. Grandparents are David and Dove Weber of Omaha and
Dr. Timothy and LaVeta Blecha of Superior. Great-grandparents are Larry and Toni Smith of Superior, Vicki Weber of Superior, Jeanie Blecha of Benkleman, the late Dale Blecha and the late Gilbert and Violet Smith.
Thirty-one babies were born at Brodstone in 2020. There were 16 boys and 15 girls.
Baby Oakland and his parents were presented a quilt created by the Loose
Thread Sewing Circle and children's books from Brodstone Memorial Hospital.
