Dorothy M. Meltzer, 92, died Saturday at the Smith Center Health and Rehab Center in Smith Center. Daughter of Forrest “Hap” and Estelle (Thompson) Winslow, she was born March 12, 1928, in Esbon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Gerald and Carroll.

Dorothy is survived by two sons, Larry of Smith Center and David of Jacksonville, Fla .; a sister, Elaine Crippen of Grain Valley, Mo .; two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, at the Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary in Smith Center.

Burial will follow in the Esbon Cemetery, rural Esbon.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary of Smith Center.
