Jacqueline Myers, the daughter of John and Jessie (Mellick) Kramer, was born on Oct. 9, 1933 in Nelson, Neb. She died Feb. 1, 2021, at the Marquis Place of Concordia at Concordia, Kan., at the age of 87 years, 3 months, 23 days.

Jackie attended Nelson Public Schools and was a member of the United Methodist Church. On Nov. 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Myers at Moorehead, Minn. This union was blessed with a son and daughter.

She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary, Eastern Star, Legion Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a bookkeeper and owner of Myers & Son repair. She enjoyed time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, drawing and watching westerns on television. She was close to her extended family and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jessie; husband, Robert; two brothers, Eugene and John Jr. Kramer; her sister, Doris Burkett; and nieces, Beverly Myers and Candice Deepe.


Survivors include her son, Jon (Rhonda) Myers of Superior; and her daughter, Robyn (Tobe) Duensing of Byron; four grandchildren: Samantha (Nathan) Mehlhaf, Layce (Clint) Siemsen, Trey Duensing, Hunter (Clay) Hill; five great-grandchildren: Jacqueline Grae, Rhen and Cruz Siemsen, Creed and Cannyn Hill; her niece, Pamela Buresh; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 5, at the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home in Nelson with Pastor Ethan Feistner officiating.

Music will be recordings of "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace."

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., today (Thursday) with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m.


Pallbearers will be Samantha and Nathan Mehlhaf, Layce and Clint Siemsen, Trey Duensing, Hunter and Clay Hill and Darren Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie's great-grandchildren, Jacqueline, Rhen, Cruz, Creed and Cannyn.

Interment will be in the Nelson Cemetery at Nelson.

Memorials are suggested to go to Meadowlark Hospice-Clay Center, Kan., or Marquis Place in Concordia, Kan.
