The Superior Parks and Cemetery Board has received a check from the Superior Lions Club with the request that the $5,720 contribution be used to purchase new playground equipment for City Park.

The club would like an area set up for an ADA Primetime Swing Framework and two Expression swings. Any money left after meeting these requests is to be used for additional City Park playground equipment.

An advertisement for Primetime equipment describes it as affordable and high quality. The system allows for a compact design.

The Expression swing is a patented product designed to promote intergenerational play in which an adult and child interact face to face and eye to eye. The swing features a bucket seats for children under five and an adult swing seat that allows an adult and child to interact with each other observe the other’s facial expressions while playing together.
