Sandra Sue Bothwell, the daughter of Nels and Marie (Hansen) Sorensen, was born on Sept. 3, 1939, in Superior, Neb. She died Feb. 7, 2021, at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 81 years, 5 months, 4 days.

Sandra was a 1956 Hardy High School graduate. She continued her education earning her BSN degree in nursing at the University of Nebraska. On Sept. 30, 1961, she was united in marriage to Lawrence "Lefty" Bothwell at Fairbury, Neb. To this union was born three children. Sandra worked in Superior at the clinic for a year.
