Vernon Herman Kimminau, the son of George and Hilda (Brockman) Kimminau, was born Dec.25, 1932, near Mt. Clare, Neb. He died Feb. 7, 2021, at the Parkview Haven Nursing Home at Deshler, at the age of 88 years, 1 months, 13 days.

Vern attended the St. Stephens Catholic School and was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Superior since 1967. In 1957, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Drudik at Lawrence, Neb.
