The Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Eagles girls basketball team is making a return trip to the state basketball tournament

B-D-S swept their sub-district D1-7 bracket at Davenport. They reached the district final with 58-32 win over the Heartland Huskies. They downed Meridian 56-28 to reach the D2-6 district final.

The Eagles edged Anselmo-Merna 41-36, at Wilcox-Hildreth High School, Friday, to earn a place at the state tournament.
