Frank R. Krob, 98, the son of Frank J. Krob and Barbara (Havel) Krob, was born Oct. 10, 1922, in Cuba, Kan. He died at his home in Belleville, on March 2.

Frank grew up in the Cuba area, attending the country schools and later graduating from Cuba High School.

On March 10, 1942, he was united in marriage to Bessie Anna Havel. To this union, three children were born. Frank served in the U. S. Army during World War II in the European Theater, receiving an honorable discharge with the rank of first sergeant.
