The Superior High School gymnasium is having a new floor installed. Several years ago, a water pipe in the utilities room adjacent to the gymnasium broke in the middle of the night. The leak was discovered by a Superior police officer on routine patrol but the damage had been done. Water had infiltrated under the floor in the bleacher area as well as the performance area. The decision was made to resurface the floor. The original Wildcat logo in the center of the court was replaced.
