Thomas Allen Ranstead, Jr., infant baby, of Mankato died Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Jewell County Hospital. He was born on Feb. 25, 2021, in Smith Center, Kan., to Thomas Allen and Hayley Renee Dawn Ranstead, Sr.

Thomas is survived by his parents, Thomas and Hayley; his six siblings, Lexie Motes, Lane Ranstead, Alexandria St. John, Alivia St. John, Tristan Phillips and Lillian Ranstead; paternal grandparents, Joe and Terri Ranstead; maternal grandparents, Alcinda and Shawn Blevins; paternal great-grandfather, David Ranstead; maternal great-grandparents, LeRoy and Helen Spurgeon; aunts and uncles, Sandra, Joe, JoAnn, Trezna, Craig and Cortney.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Donald and Mary Sue Lammers; and paternal great-grandmother, Roberta Ranstead.

Cremation has taken place and service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, at the Melby Mortuary in Mankato, Kan., with Pastor Rod Rose officiating.
