Brodstone Memorial Hospital continues to move forward with the facility expansion. This expansion will provide a state of the art emergency room, new patient rooms, chemo infusion suites and a healing garden. Crews have spent the last several months completing exterior projects such as moving of the oxygen tank, placement of the generator, and water, gas and sewer line preparation.

The next stage of construction will include demolition of the interior walls of the existing 1927’s building in preparation for its union with the new expansion. Work has been done on the interior of the hospital to prepare and secure the structure during demolition. Construction of the new expansion is slated to be complete the summer of 2022. Many areas within the present hospital structure will be remodeled following the expansion.

“We are excited to move forward with the construction project,” said Treg Vyzourek, BMH CEO. “This expansion will allow us to take better

care of our patients in the future. We are still prepared to handle all of our patients’ needs during the construction process.”
