The Catholic parishes of northwestern Nuckolls and southwestern Clay counties held First Holy Communion Services for members of their congregations last Sunday, April 11, 2021. At Sacred Heart parish in Lawrence two young members of the parish completed their preparation and were able to participate fully in the Mass and receive the sacred body of Christ for the first time of their lives.
