Rock Hills golf in league tourney at Tipton

The Rock Hills High School golf team traveled to Tipton Monday for the Northern Plains League Tournament. The 18-hole matches were played at the Tipton Oaks Golf Course. The sand greens course played at par 70. The Rock Hills Invitational was played Tuesday at the Mankato Country Club. Match results were unavailable at press time.

Rock Hills finished in fourth place, with a score of 408, in the five team field. Other schools at the match were Osborne, Lakeside, Tipton and St. John’s. The four lowest individual scores make up the team total.

Jacob Barry led the Grizzlies with his round of 93. He finished in eighth place in the individual standings. Ethan Kenworthy carded a round of 96. Cesar Ortiz was in with a round of 109. Karrigan Dunstan finished with a round of 110. Garret Barry shot a round of 110.

The Grizzlies travel to Downs for the Lakeside Invitational; Tuesday, at the Downs Golf Course.
