The Superior High School golf team took to the Southern Hills Golf Course in Hastings, Thursday, for the Hastings St. Cecilia Invitational. The Wildcats finished in 15th place in the 15 team field with a team score of 490. The four lowest individual scores comprise the team total. Other schools at the match were Grand Island Central Catholic, Doniphan-Trumbull, Sandy Creek, Lawrence-Nelson, Adams Central, Fillmore Central, Thayer Central, Franklin, Hastings St. Cecilia, Fullerton, Wood River, Hastings High School junior varsity, Sutton and the Hastings St. Cecilia junior varsity team.

Conner Blackstone posted the low Superior score with an 18-hole round of 96. Haley Blackstone carded a round of 127. Emma Henderson finished with a round of 126. Neah McMeen was in the clubhouse with a round of 141.

Calm conditions in the morning gave way to strong winds later in the match. This contributed to the high scores.
